Culvert Replacement Project On Tap For Ross-772
Chillicothe - A culvert replacement project has been scheduled for state Route 772 in Ross County, forcing a one-day closure of the route later this month.
Weather permitting, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation=s Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility will close the route just south of Chillicothe on Wednesday, September 17, to replace a deteriorated culvert that is located near the 13-mile marker and County Road 175 (Liberty Hill Road).
The one-day closure is scheduled to be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and while the closure is in effect, traffic will be detoured by way of state Route 104, U.S. Route 23 and County Road 167 (Blain Highway).
This project is one of several culvert replacements being undertaken on Ross-772 by the county maintenance crews in preparation for a resurfacing project to sell later this year.
