Culvert Replacement Project Slated
Brown-221 To Be Closed The Week of August 31
Chillicothe - Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will be undertaking a culvert replacement project on state Route 221, forcing a weeklong closure of the route.
During the week of August 31, crews will be replacing a deteriorated culvert located at the 6.07-mile marker, approximately two miles south of its junction with state Route 125 at Georgetown.
Weather permitting, the project will begin Monday, August 31, and continue through Friday, September 4, with the route closed to all traffic throughout the week. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 125, S.R. 505 and U.S. 52.
