Culvert Replacement Projects Slated For Pike-124, 335
Chillicothe - A pair of culvert replacement projects have been scheduled on two Pike County routes next week, requiring a three-day closure of Ohio-124 and a one-day closure of Ohio-335.
On Tuesday, August 18, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation=s Pike County Highway Maintenance Facility will close S.R. 124 at the 8.84-mile marker for a three-day culvert replacement project. The project site is located between the village of Latham and Township Road 233 (Spicy Run Road).
The closure is anticipated to be in effect through late afternoon Thursday, August 20, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 41, S.R. 73 and S.R. 32.
And on Thursday, August 20, S.R. 335 will be closed for a one-day culvert replacement project at the 19.10-mile marker, between County Road 56 (Carr’s Run Road) and County Road 51 (River Road).
This one-day closure is scheduled to be in effect from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of state Route 32 and U.S. Route 23.
