Culvert Replacement Project Slated For Blain Highway

Chillicothe - Ohio Department of Transportation officials have scheduled the closure of County Road 167 at its junction with U.S. Route 23 in Ross County for one day next week for a culvert replacement project.

In preparation for an upcoming resurfacing project, crews from the county’s highway maintenance facility will be replacing a deteriorated culvert that is situated under C.R. 167 (Blain Highway) and located just off U.S. Route 23.

Weather permitting, the crews will be working at the site on Thursday, April 17, during regular business hours, from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While the work is in progress and the closure is in effect, motorists will be detoured via state Route 772.
