Culvert Replacement Slated For Jackson-124
Chillicothe - Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation Jackson County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert replacement project on state Route 124, forcing a weeklong closure of the route.
During the week of July 13, crews will be replacing a deteriorated culvert located near the 17.20-mile marker, between the route’s junction with state Route 327 and County Road 38 (Hiram West Road).
Weather permitting, the project will begin Monday, July 13, and continue through Friday, July 17, with the route closed to all traffic throughout the week. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of state routes 32 and 160 in Vinton County.
