Culvert Replacement Slated To Begin On U.S. 23
Chillicothe (Friday, May 6, 2011) – Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation - District 9 preparing for a culvert replacement project on U.S. Route 23 in Scioto County.
Crews from DGM, Incorporated will be replacing a culvert that is located at the route’s 15.07-mile marker, one-half mile north of County Road 25 (Cockerill’s Run Road) and approximately two miles south of the Scioto-Pike County line.
Operations are anticipated to begin May 11, and throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one, 10-foot lane in each direction.
DGM, Inc. of Beaver, Ohio, was awarded a contract for approximately $300,000 to complete the project, and the scheduled completion date is July 15, 2011.
