Culvert Project Scheduled For Scioto-348
Chillicothe (Thursday, May 29, 2014) – An
emergency culvert replacement project has been scheduled for state Route 348
in Scioto County, requiring a three-day closure of the route.
Crews from the Ohio
Department of Transportation’s Scioto County Highway Maintenance Facility
will close S.R. 348 at the 8.55-mile marker on Monday, June 2, in order to
replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is located approximately
two miles east of Otway and immediately east of County Road 35 (Mt. Hope
The closure is scheduled
to go into effect at 8 a.m. Monday and continue until 4 p.m. Wednesday, June
4, or until all work is completed. While the route is closed, motorists will
be detoured via S.R. 73 and S.R. 104.
