Culvert Project Wraps Up On Scioto-348
Chillicothe (Tuesday, June 3, 2014) – Following
an emergency culvert replacement project, state Route 348 in Scioto County is
now open to traffic.
Crews from the Ohio
Department of Transportation’s Scioto County Highway Maintenance Facility closed
the route yesterday, June 2, approximately two miles east of
Otway and immediately east of County Road 35 (Mt. Hope Road) in order to replace a deteriorated culvert.
Although Scioto-348 was
scheduled to be closed through Wednesday, June 4, crews were able to expedite
the project, completing all work and reopening it today.
