Overnight Closure Of Scioto-348 Scheduled Next Week

the bridge rehabilitation project at the Scioto River Bridge on S.R. 348 at
Lucasville moves closer to completion, contractors for the Ohio Department of
Transportation will impart the final overnight closure next week.
The closure will go into effect at 10 p.m. Thursday,
June 12, and continue until approximately 4 a.m. Friday in order for crews to
pave the roadway. While the route is closed, traffic will be detoured via
S.R. 104 North to S.R. 32 East and U.S. 23 South; however, operations will be
contingent upon the weather.
and Sands was awarded a contract for approximately $2.6 million to
rehabilitate the four-span structure that is located
immediately east of S.R. 104 and just west of U.S. 23. Throughout construction, S.R. 348 is
being maintained in one lane with temporary signals.
