Flooding Update: Several Routes Remain Closed
Chillicothe (Wednesday, April 20, 2011 -- 9:05 a.m.) – State Route 131 in Brown County and state Route 124 in Pike County are now open to traffic following their closure yesterday due to flowing. The following routes on the state highway system, however, remain closed:
- S.R. 220 at River Road in Pike County;
- S.R. 73 at U.S. 52, west of Portsmouth, in Scioto County; and
- S.R. 239 at West Portsmouth in Scioto County.
These closures will remain in effect until further notice, and motorists are reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited.
