Route To Be Closed Next Week
Chillicothe (Tuesday, September 17, 2013) – State Route 138 will be closed week next week as Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance forces undertake a culvert replacement project in Highland County.
On Monday, September 23, crews from ODOT’s Highland County facility will close S.R. 138 at the 30.36-mile marker to replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is located immediately east of the route’s junction with Township Road 361 (Hull Road), approximately two miles west of Greenfield.
The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. Thursday, September 26, or until all work is completed; completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
While S.R. 138 is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of U.S. Route 62 at Hillsboro to S.R. 28 in Leesburg to S.R. 138 at Greenfield.
