Open Following Culvert Project
Chillicothe (Friday, July 18, 2014) – Following
a culvert replacement project on state Route 753 in Highland County, the
route is now open to traffic.
Crews from the Ohio
Department of Transportation’s Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility are
replacing several culverts between the route’s junction with U.S. 50, west of
Rainsboro, and S.R. 41.
While two projects have already
been completed this week, there are still three more culverts to be replaced.
Therefore, S.R. 753 will be closed again Monday, July 21, between S.R. 506
and S.R. 41 as crews will resume operations to replace the additional
culverts within the three-mile section of road.
The route will be subject
to closure through Friday, July 25, and during periods of closure, traffic will
be detoured by way of S.R. 506, S.R. 124 and S.R. 41.
