IRBR: Resurfacing Scheduled For Campbell Avenue
Chillicothe (Thursday, November 05, 2015) - As part of the Ironton-Russell Bridge replacement project, Campbell Avenue will be closed next week for paving operations.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close Campbell Avenue in downtown Ironton, between Jefferson and Quincy streets, for pavement repairs and resurfacing.
This closure is anticipated to be in effect Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10, from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the street open to evening and overnight travel. Motorists will be detoured locally in downtown.
Brayman Construction Corporation of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, was awarded a contract for approximately $81.3 million to build a new Ohio River crossing between Ironton, Ohio, and Russell, Kentucky.
