Lane Restrictions, Closures In Place On
Jackson County Routes
Chillicothe - State Route 32 West and state Route 788 in Jackson County are reduced to one lane, while state Route 327 is closed due to debris on the highways.
o S.R. 32 is reduced to one lane in the westbound direction between County Road 40 (Hollingshead Road) and County Road 38 (Hiram West Road) due to oil that has leaked onto the pavement; the eastbound lanes of the route are not affected by this restriction.
o S.R. 327 is closed at the community of Byer due to downed trees and power lines; motorists are being detoured via U.S. 50 and S.R. 93 until all debris is cleared.
o S.R. 788 is reduced to one lane between Wellston and Jackson due to downed trees and power lines; traffic is being maintained by flaggers.
Crews from ODOT and the local utility company are working to restore these routes to traffic; however, the lane restrictions are expected to be in place throughout much of the day.
