Lawrence-141 Now Closed
Chillicothe (Tuesday, August 14, 2012) – State Route 141 in Lawrence County has been closed today, August 14, for a three-day culvert replacement project.
Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Lawrence County Highway Maintenance Facility have closed S.R. 141 just west of County Road 19 (Sharps Creek Road), approximately three miles west of S.R. 217.
The closure is anticipated to remain in effect through 5 p.m. Thursday, August 16, or until all work is completed. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. Route 52 to S.R. 243 at Coal Grove to S.R. 378 at Getaway to S.R. 141 at Aid.
Completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
