Lawrence County Routes Remain
Chillicothe (Friday, May 02, 2014) – Three routes in Lawrence County remain closed today, May 2,
due to flooding; these locations include:
141, from approximately the 19.00 to the 21.00-mile marker, between T.R.
204 (Arabia-Greasy Ridge Road) and C.R. 4 (Etna-Waterloo Road) in the
community of Arabia.
- S.R. 217, between the 5.00 and 6.00-mile markers, near T.R.
114 (Dicks Creek-Drift Creek Road) and S.R. 378 in the Linnville area; and
- S.R. 650, between the
9.00 and the 9.20-mile markers, near C.R. 10 (Old 522) and S.R. 522.
Although the duration of closure is unknown, it is anticipated
the routes will remain closed through the evening and overnight hours. While
they are closed, motorists will need to seek alternate routes, and they are
reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited.
