Bridge Rehab Project To Affect Main Street Traffic
Main Street To Be Restricted Thursday
Chillicothe (Tuesday, June 19, 2012) – As part of an ongoing resurfacing and rehabilitation project on U.S. Route 23 in Ross County, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will impart lane restrictions later this week on East Main Street in Chillicothe.
On Thursday, June 21, crews from Shelly and Sands Incorporated will restrict traffic on Main Street at the U.S. 23 overpass with single-lane closures while crews are blasting the parapets of the overpass structure.
Operations will be in effect from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers throughout the day. Although Main Street will be open, motorists are advised to expect periods of delay at the interchange and affected intersections on Main Street.
