Maintenance Crews To Undertake
Preventive Maintenance Projects
Motorists Advised Of Delays On Jackson, Scioto Routes
Chillicothe - Crews will undertake a pair of preventive maintenance projects next week on state Route 776 in Jackson County and state Route 125 in Scioto County, forcing lane restrictions and possible delays.
Beginning Monday, August 3, and continuing through Wednesday, August 5, highway maintenance crews will be chip-sealing a five-mile section of S.R. 776, between state Route 32 and County Road 24 (Glade Road), in Jackson County.
Operations are then scheduled to begin August 5 on S.R. 125 in Scioto County, where crews will be paving the route from the Adams County line to Township Road 99 (Mackletree Road). This project will continue through Friday, August 7.
Although traffic will be maintained in one lane with the aid of flaggers, motorists are advised to anticipate delays when crews are at work, and they are also reminded to exercise additional caution.
Crews are scheduled to work extended days throughout the week, and all work will be contingent upon the weather.
