Lane Rehabilitation Set To Begin
to start multi-phase project next week
Chillicothe (Thursday, September 7, 2017) – A one-year, multi-phase
pavement and bridge rehabilitation project is set to begin on County Road 98
(McCarty Lane) in Jackson County, as contractors for the Ohio Department of
Transportation mobilize crews and
close a section of McCarty Lane early next week.
The project includes
the full-depth repair and rebuilding of McCarty Lane between the roundabout near U.S. 35 and S.R. 93, and
it includes rehabilitating the bridge over Salt Lick Creek. The project will
be constructed in stages, thereby limiting separate closures of the route to
designated areas within the entire construction zone.
first phase of construction, McCarty Lane will be closed from west of the
roundabout at Acy Avenue to the entrance of McCarty Crane Service. The
closure will go into effect Monday, September 11, and it will remain in
effect through mid-October.

east of Veterans Drive.
