Microsurfacing Project Scheduled For S.R. 32
Chillicothe (Friday, April 8, 2016) – A micro-resurfacing project is set to begin in Brown County, as contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be paving approximately 4.5 miles of state Route 32 in the coming weeks.
Preliminary operations will get under way beginning Monday, April 18, as crews from Strawser Construction Incorporated begin sign installation and site preparations for the project that will extend from Township Road 171 (Freeh Road) to the Adams County line.
Traffic impacts should be minimal during site preparations; however, traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in each direction once construction begins. Strawser Construction, of Columbus, Ohio, was awarded a contract for approximately $744,243, and the entire project is anticipated to be completed in mid-summer of this year.
