ODOT Seeking Comment For Proposed Project
Chillicothe (Friday, May 18, 2012) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed project.
Jackson County – JAC-776-5.10 – The proposed project is a culvert replacement project on state Route 776 and over an unnamed tributary of Brushy Fork in Scioto Township of Jackson County. The existing culvert was damaged during a flash flood event on May 4, 2012. No new right of way will be needed for the project, no homes or businesses will be removed by the project, and all work will be completed by ODOT county forces.
Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by June 1, 2012, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
