ODOT Crews Begin Patrolling, Treating Highways
Chillicothe - Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 highway maintenance facilities have been dispatched to begin treating the state and federal highways for snow and ice.
Throughout the area, roadways are wet and slick, with snow starting to accumulate and stick to the pavement. Although routes are presently clear, conditions are subject to change quickly.
Motorists who are traveling throughout this winter storm are reminded to exercise additional caution. Roadways will be slick and ice may be present or likely to form on routes that are clear and wet.
District 9 includes Adams, Brown, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross and Scioto counties.
