Culvert Project Scheduled Next Week
Chillicothe (Tuesday, July 1, 2014) – A two-day
culvert replacement project will take place next week on state Route 180 in
Ross County, restricting traffic to one lane during daytime, business hours.
On Monday and Tuesday,
July 7 and 8, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Ross County
Highway Maintenance Facility will be replacing a culvert on S.R. 180 at the
route’s junction with Township Road 270 (Spencer Road), approximately one
mile west of the community of Hallsville.
Throughout the project, S.R.
180 will be open, and traffic will be maintained in one lane while crews are
at work. However, Spencer Road will be closed at its south junction with S.R.
180, with motorists being detoured via County Road 235 (Marietta Road) and C.R.
273 (Walnut Creek Road).
Weather permitting, all
work should be completed by 4 p.m. Tuesday.
