Culvert Project Extended
Chillicothe (Wednesday, July 23, 2014) – A two-day
culvert replacement project on state Rote 124 that began yesterday will be
extended one day due to a water line break.
Crews from the Ohio
Department of Transportation’s Pike County Highway Maintenance Facility closed
S.R. 124 Tuesday, July 22, in order to replace a culvert that is located immediately
east of the Pike-Highland County line and situated between the intersecting
points of Township Road 202 (Dogwood Road).
Although the route was scheduled to be open by 4 p.m.
today, July 23, it will now remain closed through tomorrow afternoon. While the
route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 32, S.R. 73 and S.R. 41
through Adams and Highland counties.
