Culvert Replacement Project Slated For Pike-552
Chillicothe (Wednesday, July 25, 2012) – A culvert replacement project on state Route 552 in Pike County is scheduled to take place early next month, and the route will be closed for up to one week.
On Monday, August 6, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Pike County facility will close S.R. 552 at the 0.25-mile marker to replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is located between the intersecting points of Township Road 483 (Sheridan Road), just south of its junction with S.R. 220 at Lake White.
The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. August 6 and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, August 10, or until all work is completed, and completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
While S.R. 552 is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 220 and S.R. 104.
