S.R. 220 To Be Closed For Railroad Repair
Chillicothe (Friday, November 14, 2014) – State Route 220 in Pike County will be closed for two days this month as part of a railroad repair by the Norfolk and Southern Railroad.
On November 24 and 25, crews from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad will close the route at County Road 51 (River Road), one mile south of Waverly, for work at the railroad’s overpass.
The closure will be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with the route open to evening and overnight travel. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. 23 and S.R. 32.
