To Get Under Way On S.R. 180
Crews To Begin Work Next Week
Chillicothe (Friday, September 5, 2014) – An
11.67-mile resurfacing project is set to begin on state Route 180 in Ross
County next week.
Contractors for the Ohio
Department of Transportation will be resurfacing Ohio-180 from its junction
with S.R. 159 to the village of Adelphi. Construction is scheduled to begin
Monday, September 8, and throughout the project, traffic will be maintained
in one lane with the aid of flaggers when crews are at work.
The Shelly Company was awarded
a contract for approximately $1.43 million to pave the route, and all work is
anticipated to be completed by late fall.
