Chillicothe - Officials from the Ohio Department of Transportation have closed state Route 28 in Ross County at the 7.08-mile marker due to a collapsed rock culvert.
The damaged culvert is located between County Road 60 (Westfall Road) and County Road 93 (Porter Hollow Road), and the route will remain closed until further notice.
While it is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. Route 50 at Slate Mills and state Route 41 at Bainbridge.
