Ross-28 Reduced To One Lane For Maintenance Project
Chillicothe - A preventive maintenance is under way on state Route 28 in Ross County, forcing lane restrictions and possible delays.
Crews from the Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility are chip-sealing approximately six miles of Ohio-28, from the Highland County line near Greenfield to just east of Lyndon and near County Road 60 (Westfall Road).
Although traffic is being maintained in one lane with the aid of flaggers when crews are at work, motorists are advised of periodic delays throughout the project, and they are also reminded to exercise additional caution.
The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of the business day on Thursday, October 9.
