Ross-41, Adams-348 Now Closed
Other restrictions, closures remain in place
Chillicothe (Tuesday, May 3, 2011 – 10:45 a.m.) – State Route 41 in Ross County has been closed between Humbolt and Fruitdale, north of Bainbridge, due to flooding, as well as S.R. 348 in Adams County, between its junction with S.R. 125 and Blue Creek Road.
Ross-41 motorists may detour via S.R. 28 at Slate Mills to S.R. 41 at Greenfield, while Adams-348 motorists may detour via S.R. 781, S.R. 41 and S.R. 125.
In addition, state Route 52 in Brown County is reduced to one lane near between Aberdeen and Ripley, as well as between Aberdeen and the Adams County line due to a pair of mudslides that occurred early this morning. Although the route is open to traffic, motorists are reminded to exercise additional caution in the work area.
Other closures and restrictions on the state highway system in ODOT District 9 today include:
• S.R. 41 in Adams County is CLOSED between the Brown County line and S.R. 136 at Bentonville.
• S.R. 220 in Pike County is RESTRICTED at River Road.
• S.R. 141 in Lawrence County is REDUCED to ONE LANE just north of Bald Knob-Dog Fork Road due to a slip; traffic is being maintained with temporary signals.
