Ross-41 Culvert Replacement Project Slated This Month
Chillicothe (Friday, July 13, 2012) – A culvert replacement project on state Route 41 in Ross County has been scheduled, and the route will be closed for one day later this month.
On Wednesday, July 25, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility will close S.R. 41 between County Road 54 (Lower Twin Road) and Township Road 4I (Irwin Lane) to replace a deteriorated pipe at the 12.48-mile marker.
The closure will be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 28 at Greenfield to U.S. 50 at Slate Mills and S.R. 41 at Bainbridge. Completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
