Ross-772 Restrictions Lifted Following Culvert Replacement
Chillicothe (Tuesday, October 20, 2015) – Restrictions have been lifted on state Route 772 in Ross County following a culvert replacement project at the 11.85-mile marker.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation reduced S.R. 772 to one lane of traffic between Township Road 169B (Rinehart Road) and County Road 175 (Liberty Hill Road), south of Chillicothe, in late August in order to replace a deficient culvert and repair the approaches.
Although the route is now open to two-way traffic, crews will have striping and other finishing work to complete Wednesday, October 21; however, traffic impacts should be minimal, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers. All work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week.
DGM, Inc. of Beaver, Ohio was awarded a contract in the amount of approximately $202,689 to replace the culvert.
