Ross-772 To Be Closed Next Week
Chillicothe - State Route 772 in Ross County will be closed for two days next week in order for crews to replace a set of deteriorated culverts.
Weather permitting, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation=s Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility will close the route just south of Chillicothe on Wednesday and Thursday, August 13 and 14, to replace two separate pipes. The project site is located near the 14.5-mile marker, between the city’s southern corporation limit and County Road 175 (Liberty Hill Road).
The closure is scheduled to be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with the route open to evening and overnight travel.
While the work is in progress and the closure is in effect, traffic will be detoured by way of state Route 104, U.S. Route 23 and County Road 167 (Blain Highway).
