Ross County Crews Ready For Culvert Replacement Project
Ohio-138 To Be Closed Next Week
Chillicothe - A culvert replacement project has been scheduled for state Route 138 in Ross County, forcing a weeklong closure of the route next week.
Weather permitting, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Ross County Highway Maintenance Facility will close the route at the 15.86-mile marker, south of Clarksburg, to replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is located between County Road 127 (Egypt Pike) and Township Road 85B (Asbury Road).
The weeklong closure is scheduled to go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. Monday, August 17, and remain in effect until approximately 4 p.m. Friday, August 21. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via C.R. 87 (Clarksburg Pike) and U.S. 35.
