S.R. 125, 505 Culvert Projects Rescheduled
Chillicothe (Thursday, July 23, 2015) – Following their postponement due to weather, a pair of culvert replacement projects on state routes 125 and 505 in Brown County have been rescheduled.
On Wednesday, July 29, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will close S.R. 125 between Township Road 153 (Blackshire Road) and T.R. 515 (Liming Lake Road), approximately three-quarters of a mile east of the Clermont County line, for a two-day culvert replacement project.
The closure will be in effect beginning at 8 a.m., July 29, and continue through 4 p.m. Thursday, July 30. While S.R. 125 is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 774 and S.R. 133 in Clermont County.
Following this project, crews will close S.R. 505 and the 6.83-mile marker, for a three-day culvert replacement project between S.R. 756 and County Road 84 (Feesburg-Poetown Road). The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m., August 4, and continue until 4 p.m. Thursday, August 6. Motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 125, S.R. 221 and U.S. 52.
