125 Culvert Replacement Project Scheduled Next Month
Chillicothe (Thursday, May 22, 2014) – State Route 125 in Brown County will be closed for one week next month for a
culvert replacement project.
Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County Highway
Maintenance Facility are scheduled to close Ohio-125 at the 20.15-mile marker
on Monday, June 2, to replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is located
immediately west of County Road 15 (George Miller Road) and approximately 1.5
miles west (north) of the S.R. 763/S.R. 353 intersection.
The closure will go
into effect at approximately 8 a.m. on June 2, and it remain in effect until 4
p.m. Friday, June 6. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured
via S.R. 353 and U.S. 62.
