Chillicothe (Thursday, May 5, 2016) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Adams County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a culvert replacement project on state Route 125, closing the route to traffic for one day later this month.
On Thursday, May 19, crews will close S.R. 125 at the 15.78-mile marker to replace a deteriorated culvert. The project site is situated between the intersections of County Road 5 (Weaver Road), approximately one mile east of S.R. 348.
The closure will be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until all work is completed, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. 52, S.R. 247 and S.R. 41. Completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather.
