S.R. 131 Resurfacing Set To Begin
Chillicothe (Monday, August 26, 2013) – A resurfacing project is set to begin on state Route 131 as contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation have begun preliminary operations.
Crews from Brown County Asphalt will be resurfacing S.R. 131 from the Highland-Brown County line to its junction with S.R. 138, west of Danville. With sign installation and other site work under way, paving operations are scheduled to begin in the coming week, and throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of flaggers when crews are at work.
