S.R. 159/Kenworth Drive Signals Back In Operation
Chillicothe (Thursday, October 10, 2013) – The traffic signals at the intersection of state Route 159 and Kenworth Drive in Ross County are back in operation today after a nighttime project to replace poles and span wires.
The signal was rendered inoperable Wednesday morning after a service truck struck the poles; however, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation worked yesterday afternoon and evening to install new poles and repair the damaged signals.
Although the signal is back in operation, motorists are reminded to exercise additional caution in the area and pay heed to crews as they will be working to adjust the signal timing this morning.
