S.R. 505 Culvert Replacement Rescheduled
Route Will Be Closed Friday
Chillicothe (Thursday, June 25, 2015) – A culvert replacement project on state Route 505 in Brown County has been rescheduled for tomorrow, June 26.
Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County facility were scheduled to replace a deteriorated pipe at the 0.89-mile marker, just north of Higginsport, today. However, due to inclement weather, the project was postponed, and it is now scheduled to take place tomorrow, weather permitting.
S.R. 505 will be closed from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, with the route open to two-way traffic by the late afternoon/early evening hours. While it is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. 52 and S.R. 221 at Higginsport to S.R. 125 and S.R. 505/756.
