S.R. 73 Reopens; S.R. 239 Still Closed Due To Flooding
Chillicothe (Friday, March 20, 2015 – 2:30 p.m..) – State Route 73/104 at the southbound exit/ramp toward the Second Street Bridge and downtown Portsmouth is now open to traffic following its closure due to flooding.
Currently, the only route on the state and federal highway system in the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9 that remains closed due to flooding is S.R. 239 at U.S. 52 and West Portsmouth.
The closure will remain in effect until further notice, and it is anticipated to be closed through early next week. Motorists are reminded that crossing any route which has been closed is strictly prohibited.
