S.R. 763 Slip Project Wraps Up
Chillicothe (Friday, August 17, 2012) – State Route 763 in Brown County is now open following a slip repair project by crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility.
Since Monday, August 6, the route has been closed during daytime, business hours for crews to repair a landslide slip near County Road 31 (Martin Hill Road), approximately 1.5 miles north of the route’s junction with S.R. 41 at Aberdeen.
With ODOT forces wrapping up operations late Thursday, August 16, the route has been reopened to traffic. Crews will return to the project site during the week of August 20 to install guardrail; however, traffic will be maintained by flaggers when crews are at work.
