S.R. 93 Bridge Replacement Comment Period Now Open
Chillicothe (Friday, July 22, 2016) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on a bridge rehabilitation project in Lawrence County.
LAW-93-19.54 (PID: 88724) – It is proposed to rehabilitate a structure on S.R. 93 in Decatur Township of Lawrence County. Situated over Kimble Creek and located between County Road 34 (Buckhorn-Pine Creek Road) and Township Road 258 (Kimble Creek Road), the existing structure is a pre-stressed, concrete non-composite box beam, and the project includes the replacement of the deck and abutments, new approach slabs and guardrail replacement.
Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Written comments should be submitted by August 5, 2016, or the deadline date that is posted on the web site, to:
