S.R. 251 Culvert Project On Hold
Inclement Weather Forces Delay Until Next Week
Chillicothe (Friday, May 21, 2010) – With two culvert replacement projects on state Route 251 completed earlier this week, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will return to the route next week to wrap up their final project.
The route was originally scheduled to be closed Thursday and Friday, May 20-21, for a two-day culvert replacement project at the 3.75-mile marker, north of St. Martin and between County Road 312 (Kernan Road) and the Clinton County line. However, due to inclement weather forecasted today (Friday), the project was put on hold until next week.
Crews are now scheduled to close the route Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25-26, with the closure going into effect at 8 a.m.Tuesday and continuing until approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday.
