S.R. 335 Scheduled For Closure Next Week
Culvert Replacement Project On Tap
Chillicothe (Friday, May 27, 2011) – A culvert replacement project will get under way next week on state Route 335 in Scioto County, with the route being closed for three days next week.
Weather permitting, maintenance forces from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Scioto County facility will close Scioto-335 on Tuesday, May 31, at the 7.85-mile marker, between T.R. 234 (Shumway-Hollow Road) and C.R. 12 (Bennett-Schoolhouse Road), to replace a deteriorated pipe.
The closure will remain in effect until approximately 4 p.m. Thursday, June 2, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 139 and U.S. 52.
