Revised For Brown-763 Slip Repair
Chillicothe (Thursday, July 24, 2014) – Due
to issues related to equipment and scheduling, the timetable for a slip
repair project on state Route 763 in Brown County has been revised.
Crews from the Ohio
Department of Transportation’s Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will
close S.R. 763 just
south of County Road 31 (Martin Hill Road) on Monday, July 28, in order to
repair a slip at the 1.45-mile marker.
The two-week project was
originally scheduled to begin August 4 and continue through the 15th.
However, it will
now go into effect at approximately at 8 a.m. Monday and continue until 4
p.m. Friday, August 8, or until all work is completed.
The project site is
located north of the route’s junction with S.R. 41 and the village of
Aberdeen, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R.
41, U.S. 52, U.S. 62 and S.R. 353.
