Scioto Routes Reopen Following Flooding
Bloom-Furnace Lane Still Closed
Chillicothe (Tuesday, February 5, 2013) – The “Spaghetti Bowl” routes in Scioto County are now open to traffic.
State Route 239 at West Portsmouth and the ramps leading to and from S.R. 73/104 at U.S. 52 have been reopened following their closure last late last due to flooding. Crews will be working at the underpasses today to clear mud and debris; however, traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

Township Road 290 (Bloom Furnace Lane) remains closed due to a collapsed culvert. The road is closed immediately south of its junction with S.R. 140, east of South Webster. ODOT crews will be working to restore the road; however, until the route can be reopened to traffic, motorists will be detoured via County Road 291 (Bloom Furnace Road) and S.R. 140.
