Signal Work Continues For Main Street Improvement Project
Chillicothe (Wednesday, January 15, 2014) – As part of a corridor improvement project on U.S. Route 50 (Main Street) in Chillicothe, lane restrictions will continue this week for signal work.
Crews from Shelly & Sands, Inc. completed signalization at the Main and Bridge Street intersection earlier today, and they will now begin work at the Water Street and Western Avenue location tomorrow, January 16.
Other signal work will continue next week, with signal replacement at the Main and High Street/S.R. 104 intersection; a specific day for this stage of work, however, has yet to be determined.
Weather permitting, the contractors will be working during daytime, business hours, or from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Although traffic will be maintained at these locations, short-term closures of the affected intersections may be necessary, and motorists may encounter intermittent periods of delay.
