Slide Repair Project Scheduled For Brown-41
Route to be closed for two weeks
Chillicothe (Friday, June 3, 2016) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a slide repair project on state Route 41, requiring a two-week closure of the route.
On Monday, June 20, ODOT crews will close S.R. 41 at the 3.89-mile marker, between Township Road 44 (Ellis Run Road) and T.R. 248 (Meffords Run Road), approximately one-half mile south of the Adams County line. Crews will be repairing a slide along the shoulder of the route by installing a series of drilled shafts .
The closure will go into effect at approximately at 8 a.m. Monday, June 20, and it will remain in effect until 4 p.m. Friday, July 1, or until all work is completed. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via U.S. 52 and S.R. 136 in Adams County.
