Slide Repair Slated To Begin On Jackson-35
Chillicothe (Tuesday, September 8, 2015) – Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation are preparing for slide repair project on U.S. Route 35 in Jackson County, with lane restrictions going into effect next week.
On Monday, September 14, crews from the Alan Stone Company will reduce U.S. 35 West to one lane between County Road 55 (Stand Pipe Road) and C.R. 79 (Clary Road), where they will be repairing a slide at the 17.72-mile marker.
Throughout construction, westbond traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one, 12-foot lane, and eastbound traffic shall remain open to two lanes of traffic.
Alan Stone was awarded a contract for approximately $210,179 to complete the project, and all work is anticipated to be completed in mid to late fall.
